We use local soil to build homes in an eco-friendly fashion. At left is our signature building, an organically built, rammed-earth, luxurious guest house made 100% from local soil and designed by our good friend Bryan Bowen from Colorado, one of the top green architects in the United States. It has been described as 7 star luxury.

A very exclusive safari on a nearby private reserve - where you might see lions or hippopotamus. Rangers will take you on game drives in classic open land-rovers!

Welcome Home
Our beautiful organic ecological compound here in Memel, South Africa: A place of learning, a place of inspiration, a place where anybody can see that change is possible. Welcome home!
Eco-Tourism
Event
Eco-tourism events, almost within walking distance of Memel, where you will see zebra and antelope.
Meet up with students, teachers, school leaders, church groups, local artists, dancers, musicians and even Sangomas!
Be mesmerized by a local traditional troupe in a way that you can never imagine.
Interaction with local community
You and your team can choose to contribute in any number of ways: coaching a sport, teaching art or music, reading a book to a student or to the elderly, helping kids with math or science, gardening or cooking, in the building-trades or with computers. Maybe just telling people your story.
Your 1st day in Johannesburg
We arrange for guests to spend the first night in Johannesburg to experience a tour of the city and see what Joburg looks like in post-apartheid South Africa. You can tour key historic places symbolic of change like a former women’s prison - now the new constitutional court.

Breathtaking Hiking
Hiking and scrambling on private farms and ranches - imagine the views standing on South Africa’s continental divide.
Safari Visit
Steven Ablondi and some of our guests will tell you, they have been on safari 30 or 40 times - in the famous National Parks, and there are many nocturnal animals they never saw at those big parks - animals they’ve only seen near Memel, driving around, after dark with a spotlight. Everyone has heard of Africa’s Big Cats, but did you know Africa also has smaller cats? In Memel, we’ve seen: African Wildcats, Caracal Cats; we’ve seen the rarest cat - a Serval Cat - just two miles from Memel! We’ve seen Aardvarks and a strange and rare, long-haired, ant-eating creature called an Aardwolf.
This really is an experience of a lifetime.
Training session
Your group leader might have something big planned during your stay. Memel.Global attracts a lot of gurus from the life coaching and business coaching fields. You might get an impromptu motivational session.
Trip to Memel from Joburg
The following day, you will start your wonderful journey into this place of bliss called Memel. This is about a 3 hour journey with wide open and increasingly beautiful scenery throughout. And then you will be welcomed into our beautiful oasis!

Pickleball
You can play Pickleball. Memel has the first dedicated pickleball courts in South Africa. Polish your game, or join new friends and learn the “fastest growing sport in America” while you are in South Africa! All ages, all sexes, all races!
